Have you found your verb? People walk, run, jump, hop, skip, somersault, cartwheel, create, leapfrog, hula-hoop, jam, juggle, surf, spike, dig, dance, drum, skate, ski, fly, fiddle, talk, tightrope, bounce, breath, glide, giggle, hug, hopscotch, speak and sing every day on earth. We film it all!

The Chair?

We all sit.
We all rest.
Most of us have a favorite chair. It doesn’t matter if that chair is made of wood, leather, metal or cloth we all love our favorite chair. I’ll bet you have a chair under you right now. It is from this common furniture of rest that we base our film company name on…We all sit but our favorite chair is uniquely ours.
The chair is where we reflect about our life and our future. Genuine interviews many times are filmed in a persons home on their favorite chair. Your favorite chair Nine times out of ten is the best place to tell your story.

What We Do

Chair Films creates a professional presentation of your story. We communicate your story then we transfer the video images to DVD, Pod Cast, Email Blast or Television. Our desire is to tell true stories truthfully and creatively. The end product is up to you. We film you then polish your story and let you call the shots on the final edit.

 

You Have Emotions!

We are a well rounded creative film company so we understand the intricacies of human emotions and desire to bring out the best in you on your day of filming. Many times returning to the exact spot where something extraordinary happened is important to recall those emotions. We encourage you to visit your special location prior to filming so you can collect all the memories that you’ve experienced.

We Will Travel

At Chair Films we will travel to your home or office and film you in your favorite chair or we can arrange to have your favorite chair transported to us in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho for you to speak your story next to a lake or in our wood floor studio. We are willing to film you at your favorite indoor or outdoor location. Maybe it is the location of your secret fishing hole or the place you first met your spouse or significant other that will best spark the memories to tell your story. The cool thing about filming you at your special location is that you get a visual keepsake of that location to remember. What we are saying is that we will gladly travel to your most emotionally impacting location, location, location of your choice.

Why We Are Good!

Because we understand that not all people feel comfortable in front of a camera we naturally introduce a person through the film production process. Intuitive skills are essential in interviewing. At Chair Films, we ask you the best questions, which tend to draw out the best response from you and the end results are good biographies & documentary films. We wish to bring your thoughts and emotions to the table to get the full story. We understand people and we understand not everyone is the same. Some people get nervous to be on film. We empathize with them and comfort them through the process. We know that a person’s greatest emotional need is to be appreciated and everyone at chair films is in harmony with this great truth. At chair films we value the golden rule.
